The Terra Mystica expansion adds six new factions—Yetis, Ice Maidens, Acolytes, Dragonlords, Shapeshifters, and Riverwalkers—along with two new terrain types, Ice and Volcanoes, which cannot be terraformed by other players. It includes a new double-sided map, updated final scoring tiles, and a variant turn order based on passing order.
