The Lord of the Rings: Fate of the Fellowship is a cooperative strategy board game for one to five players designed by Matt Leacock and published by Z-Man Games. Utilizing a highly thematic and mechanically rich evolution of the Pandemic system, the game casts players as iconic heroes working together to protect Middle-earth from the encroaching armies of Sauron. The overarching objective of every match is to safely guide Frodo and Sam to Mount Doom to destroy the One Ring before the team's shared hope tracker plummets to zero.
