Citadel Shade is a category of highly fluid, water-soluble acrylic liquid washes formulated by Games Workshop. It is engineered with a very low surface tension and a low pigment-to-medium ratio, causing the paint to naturally flow off raised surfaces and pool into the deep recesses and crevices of a miniature to create automatic shadows and depth.
